As of the 1st of January 2017 you must have an airgun certificate (AWC) to purchase an airgun in Scotland anyone with a current UK shotgun/firearms certificate will be able to keep any airguns in their possession but cant buy and as such should apply for the Scottish airgun licence at their renewal date for more detailed info from BASC click here or from Police Scotland click here or Scottish government click here to download an application form click here
