Introducing an incredible new range of specialist saltwater rods from G Loomis. Saltwater fishing and wind go together. GLX Crosscurrent rods create more aerodynamic loops, extreme line speed and uncanny accuracy. Theyre extremely light, smooth and powerful. All Crosscurrent fly rods feature premium grade, Portuguese cork. The new ergonomic grip is extremely comfortable and easy on your hand, whether you're casting or fighting a fish. Crosscurrent models feature an elegantly designed reel seat that is distinctive and unique as the fishery and the slatwater anglers themselves. Crosscurrent rods introduce the new super-light (nickel-titanium alloy) recoil stripper and snake guide system that if distorted in any way will simply jump back into the intended position.
These guides are extremely tough and resilient, providing a noticeable reduction in the overall weight. Each rod comes in a soft, protective rod sock and Cordura-covered case. Line sizes are marked with a roman numeral style bands on the butt section to identify the particular rod-weight you want from anywhere in the boat or your rod rack.

Missionary rods have fulfilled the needs of anglers worldwide, for example, break the eight foot three rod down into five sections and you'll find that at less than twenty inches long it slides into a rucksack and can be taken into the hills on an expedition for brownies. The ten foot three inch, four/five weight model is perfect for Czech nymphing whereas the seven/eight weight model is ideal for sea trout, grilse or large reservoir boat fishing. These rods look good, feel an absolute delight and perform impeccably. A rich dark red wine coloured blank is matched to TiC hard coated gunmetal stripper rings, single leg intermediates and a hayfork tip.
